The St. Louis Mosaic Project began in 2013 under the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership and the World Trade Center-St. Louis. Its goals are to make St. Louis the fastest growing US major metropolitan area for immigration by 2025, to design and support regional attraction strategies, and to promote regional prosperity through immigration and innovation. Mosaic is a public/private partnership supported by a 32-member steering committee comprised of a diverse mix of regional business, civic, economic development, faith, agency, and academic leaders. Founded in 1995, the Saint Louis Women’s Chorale is the original classical women’s choir in the St. Louis region. In the semi-professional, 40-voice community chorus, women of diverse backgrounds come together to share their love of singing and the restorative power of music. The Chorale is committed to innovation and creativity and gives voice to women composers and poets. While keeping classical music at its core, the Chorale performs many other types of music—jazz, broadway, gospel—to bring exceptional experiences to audience members.
