Culturingua
Culturingua is a refugee, newcomer, minority serving non-profit organization located in San Antonio, Texas. Culturingua’s mission is to “cultivate, promote and preserve Middle Eastern, North African and South Asian cultural, linguistic and artistic heritage to invest in human, community and economic development”. Culturingua accomplishes this mission by supporting refugee/newcomer integration through refugee integration support, culturally enriching career skills training, advocacy, youth development programs, enhancing cultural awareness of refugees and minorities, micro-enterprise building and creative place making.
The DoSeum
The DoSeum is more than a children’s museum, it’s a place where interactive fun and hands-on learning come together; a place where minds are always at play. The DoSeum offers innovative exhibits, programs, camps, classes, and field trips designed for all learners, encouraging young minds to explore the joy of learning through connections to STEM, the arts, and literacy. Originally founded as San Antonio Children’s Museum in 1995, The DoSeum has grown to become a premier leader in informal education, while still staying true to the mission of connecting families and transforming communities.
