Playful Evolving Monsters LLC (PEM), under the direction of TJ Hanretta, is a collective of theatre and puppetry artists, performers, and educators who use acting and puppetry to nurture personal, social and environmental well-being. We create activities that foster understanding and collaboration, and act to ensure that all voices are heard and all creativity valued and honored with an eye towards the emergence of a stronger and more inclusive world. You may catch our puppets and performers roaming, parading, storytelling, dancing, hugging, sharing bubbles or letting kids run through their “rays” at parks, festivals and other venues all over Chattanooga and beyond.
