Coney Island USA is Coney Island’s resident not for profit arts organization.
Located in a landmarked building at 1208 Surf Avenue, in the heart of South Brooklyn’s amusement district, we’re home to the Sideshows by the Seashore Theater, the Coney Island Museum, and the Freak Bar.
Since 1980, Coney Island USA has been committed to defending the honor of American popular culture through innovative and cutting edge artistic programs, including the Mermaid Parade, the country’s largest arts parade; the world-famous Coney Island Circus Sideshow; the award-winning Coney Island Film Festival; and New York City’s longest-running burlesque series, Burlesque at the Beach. The Coney Island Museum works to preserve Coney Island’s historical importance as the People’s Playground. Our Shooting Gallery/Arts Annex, located at 1214 Surf Avenue, hosts special exhibitions, community events, and unique programming.
