Free Derry Corner has become an internationally recognised symbol of resistance.
The iconic landmark is to get a new chapter when for the first time Little Amal – a global beacon of human rights, especially those of refugees – pays it a visit.
Little Amal’s story and what she stands for – the plight of millions of refugees worldwide fleeing war zones and poverty – is likely to resonate with a community that has known injustice but that is finding its feet again in post-conflict Northern Ireland.
