Amal feels very far from home as she reaches the Mexico-Guatemala border, the final moment of her long journey through Mexico. In the small border city of Ciudad Hidalgo she meets people who have traveled through Central America, many of them across the Dairen Jungle in Panama.
As she stands at the bank of the Suchiate River, we reflect and remember the millions of children who have walked through great danger, in search of a better life.
