Amal’s lost homeland is alive in her thoughts. Memories of war rise to the surface and when she wakes visions of home appear. If she follows them where will they lead? 

Tammam Azzam, one of Syria’s most distinguished visual artists, now living in Germany, paints scenes of his war-torn homeland. In Rome Tammam’s visceral and poignant paintings of Syrian buildings destroyed by war will be projected onto local buildings, creating a powerful installation in collaboration with Finn Ross from FRAY Studio.

This installation will give an insight into the sleeping visions of a child haunted by war.
