Little Amal is a 3.5-metre puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee girl who has become global symbol of human rights. Since she began her journey in 2021 she has travelled to 17 countries, been welcomed by two million people on the street and connected with tens of millions online.
In January 2025, Little Amal continues her journey across the world with an incredible 2,600 mile journey across Chile with the Fundación Internacional Teatro a Mil. The festival’s 2025 theme focuses on humanity and once again, Amal will make new friends and share her message of hope with the people across this beautiful country.
She will launch the 2025 Fundación Internacional Teatro a Mil in Santiago on Friday 3rd January, before travelling thousands of miles across the length of the country. She will then eventually return to Santiago on Saturday 25th January to celebrate the festival’s finale.
